Project Updates

The Leadership for Systemic Change project is currently in phase two. Here are some of the activities in progress.

Project Participants

Cohort 1 of the project began in October 2022 with the Community of Practice established. There are 23 English and French Participants currently engaging in networking and training activities.

Project workshops

Three workshops have been designed and facilitated. The first workshop on “Building Ethical Partnerships” trained participants to recognize the signs of successful partnerships. In the “Social Media For Non-profit”, participants learned about personal and organizational branding and the importance of developing social media in a non-profit setting. The “Importance of Evaluation & Data Collection” workshop is a two part workshop currently ongoing. Participants in this workshop learned to develop a basic evaluation plan. They will be practicing and developing their communication and public speaking skills by developing and presenting an Evaluation report.

Placement and Mentorship

We have secured 22 placement and 16 mentorship opportunities. We are working on securing more opportunities for the participants.
