Normally Giving Tuesday is on the Tuesday after Black Friday but in response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19.  #GivingTuesdayNow is a global day of giving and unity that will take place today May 5, 2020.

This global day of action will rally people around the world, and here at Immigrant Women Services Ottawa, we wanted to use today to say Thank you.

Thank you to all of the donors, volunteers, board members, and our staff for all you do, because of your time and generosity, we have been able to continue providing services for immigrant women here in Ottawa.

Your donations have helped our staff continue services for clients such as counselling and settlement services.  We have been able to offer online English classes, computer classes, and even a care for newcomer children program.

We still need your help to continue offering these services and appreciate this may be a hard time for your family as well. If you are able please consider donating to us so we can continue our goal to eliminate all forms of abuse and to empower immigrant women to reach their full potential. With your help, we give immigrant women a chance for a better life.
